SLOVAKIA Safer Internet Centre Slovak Safer Internet Centre (SK SIC)SK SIC was initiated by eSlovensko, Slovak Committee for UNICEF and Children an Youth Animation Atelier Association (Zodpovedne.sk, Pomoc.sk, Stopline.sk, Sheeplive.eu). Main aim is to create a childrens's animated series and international web portal. The project focuses on the safety of children and youth, especially the risks of the Internet, mobile phones and new technologies. For the lower age group of children acts as a prevention project, youth wittily sets mirror of misconduct and adults wishing to learn from the project. Safer Internet Day 2013 SID 2013 will take place on Tuesday 5th February 2013 at 11.00 pm at the Elementary School for the Blind and Visually-Impeaired, Svrčov street in Bratislava. The event will be organised under the auspices of the Slovak Minister of Education, Mr. Dusan Caplovic. During the event, there will be presented the premiere of 3 new episodes of OVCE.sk (Sheeplive.eu) cartoons and also all 24 episodes of the OVCE.sk (Sheeplive.eu) cartoons in the version with audio-commentary for visually impaired and blind children. There will be also organised the ceremony regarding the evaluation of ongoing 4th competition Zodpovedne.sk realized in Slovak schools.
