About our SID activities

ISOC-Georgia is organising a Safer Internet Day 2020 event that will take place on 11 February 2020. Several Georgian governmental, educational and NGO organisations will run events in parallel. A detailed list of the events will be available in early February 2020.

What we are doing to support the SID 2020 slogan of "Together for a better internet"…

Together with our partners, Internet Society - Georgia Chapter is building an internet community based on a multistakeholder approach and respect.

About us

ISOC-Georgia is the Georgian chapter of the Internet Society and is working on building free and trusted internet in Georgia. It is building a coalition of state, private and civil society institutions in order to coordinate their activities aimed at safer and better use of the internet and mobile technologies among children and young people. The Safer Internet Day initiative is supported by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.

We cooperate with many state, private, non-governmental and international organisation including the Georgian National Communication Commission and the Ministry of Education.
