About our SID activities
ASKfm has developed Safety Center in seven languages for young users who have questions about the online world. The content can also be used by professionals and teachers to speak about safety with their students. This year, ASKfm will promote Safer Internet Day activities on its social networks by highlighting the importance of each person in shaping the content that is visible and shared on social media.
What we are doing to support the SID 2020 slogan of "Together for a better internet"…
For teenagers, ASKfm may be one of their first experiences on a social network, and it is a safe testing ground on how to develop relationships and ultimately become a good citizen on the internet. Young people have the chance to ask questions and give answers in a public space. Moreover, they are provided with safety tools that can be easily accessed and used to help them become creators of their own content on their ASKfm feed.
At ASKfm, our premise is simple: we believe questions and answers are the building blocks of conversation, self-expression and building relationships. Through the social exchange of questions and answers, ASKfm aims to be a safe, fun and engaging place for engaging and learning more about yourself and exploring the social world around you.
