Last updated: 2024-01-23

About our SID activities

For the first time, we will celebrate Safer Internet Day (SID) 2024 outside the Capital. We will organise a ceremony on Tuesday, 6 February 2024, at Massakory in the region of Hajer Lamis. During this ceremony, two hundred high school students will be invited to discuss their internet and social media (TikTok) usage to enhance their studies. Additionally, the focus will be on educating them on how to protect their data online.

What we are doing to create a better internet:

The global awareness day for a better internet will be held on Tuesday, 6 February, at Massakory in Hadjar Lamis Region. The internet is key, and protecting our community is very important; it is for this reason that we support students so that they can understand the benefits of the internet and better know how to protect themselves online (from fake news, hate messages, and so on) and to become a social media/internet ambassadors in their school.
