What we are doing to support the SID 2023 slogan of "Together for a better internet"…
iSIGURT is working closely with SID and INHOPE to make continuous progress regarding the improvement of internet safety especially for children and young people. This year most of the efforts have been focused on the establishment of the National Committee on Internet Safety that will bring together Government authorities, law enforcement, CSO's and the industry to work together for making the internet better and safer.
We will continue to work closely with professionals in schools and public spaces where children are present with the aim of raising their awareness on risks children and young people face while online, how to protect themselves and where to report incidents.
Finally, we are engaging politicians and MPs of the Parliamentary group "Friends of Children", at the Albanian Parliament to start to improve the legal framework regarding online crimes against children and youth.
What we are doing to mark the 20th anniversary of Safer Internet Day…
iSIGURT.al aims this year to engage a larger number of CSO's to celebrate and raise awareness in wider groups of the society when it comes to the SID and internet safety, including the engagement of children and young people themselves to propose measures that they believe makes them safer online.
