About our SID activities

On 8 February 2022 at 17:00, the Polish Safer Internet Day Conference with leading speakers was transmitted live on the Polish SID website (www.dbi.pl), and the Polish Safer Internet Centre's YouTube and Facebook channels.

Schools, libraries and other educational institutions are invited to prepare awareness-raising campaigns, online classes and other activities throughout February and March. The best initiatives can take part in a contest. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all local events are asked to observe governmental restrictions. For the 2022 edition, the Polish Safer Internet Centre has provided digital educational materials.

In addition, special educational webinars for professionals have been prepared for the months of February and March. Almost fourteen different topics will be covered which focus on the topic of child safety in cyberspace.

What we are doing to support the SID 2022 slogan of "Together for a better internet"…

The Polish version of the SID slogan is “#działajmy razem” which translates to “Let’s act together!”. The Polish Safer Internet Centre has invited leading IT businesses such as Orange, Samsung, Google, and Meta to partner during this year’s SID actions. National institutions such as the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Education and Science were invited to grant honorary patronage to the event.
