United States of America Safer Internet Day Committee - ConnectSafely

Last updated: 2023-12-22

About our SID activities

We will sponsor events at schools and community groups across the US through our grant program. This year we expect our program, which includes resources such as lesson plans, discussion topics, slides, quick guides, and a library of videos from leading subject matter experts, to reach 100,000 students and families.

We will hold a live virtual event on Safer Internet Day, "No Room for Doom: Helping Your Family Thrive in Our Digital Age," featuring our education director, Kerry Gallagher, in partnership with National PTA.

What we are doing to create a better internet:

Our goal is to get people talking about what they want their internet to look like. We hope that through our resources offered for Safer Internet Day, discussions and activities in schools, homes and communities will help people understand and embrace their role in creating a better internet for all.
